About Tina
Hey I'm Tina Kennedy! And I'm SO glad you are here. Everyday I make the decision to be slim and healthy. I do this because I'm not one of those woman who can eat what ever they want and be slim.
If you are a busy mother like me who is ooo-ver the struggle, the yo-yo and weight loss battle I invite you to do the same.
Like SO many other mothers I started to struggle with my weight after having my children. I believed dieting was the answer and I would go from diet to diet in search of the solution to lasting weight loss. With every diet the happy-go lucky-girl inside me died a little more and I became resigned to the fact I'd never ever again be healthy and slim. Food became my only joy and my go-to every time I was upset, worried, unhappy or stressed.
I finally found a more peaceful place through quitting dieting, quitting the negative body talk and finding a personal weight loss coach who helps me see that food is never going to make me feel better. She helps me to be a mindful eater and create a life FULL of joy so that I don't expect food to be the solution. I love coaching so much that I became a certified coach myself. And now I help other woman like me to be healthy and slim too.
Every morning I re-commit to doing everything I can to be healthy and slim. I do the mindset work that keeps me focused on my goal. I continue to get my own coaching because this work is my life work.

A little bit more about me...
-I'm a mother of five children (19, 18, 16 and 15 year old teens & our 10 month old baby)
-I am a New Zealand healthy size 12 and LOVE an organised lingerie drawer and gorgeous shoes
-Scoot and I have been married for ten years
-Since my early twenties I have been a director, owner and teacher in childcare centers. I have also been an education reviewer and consultant. These days I spend most of my time teaching and working as a coach helping other mothers feel more balanced, happier and healthier in their lives
-I am a qualified registered teacher and I love working with children to help them get the best possible care and education
-I luuuurve reading home renovation magazines in front of a warm fire with antipodes sparkling water with lemon
-My favorite FUEL food is grilled chicken salad with kumara and cumin made for me :-)
-The JOY food I dig the most is licorice
-And my favorite herbal tea is Manukau and Mint from my local cafe
